Too soon?

I kept saying I was going to make shirts for Brick and Brothers Bloom, but never got around to it. Though I might as well do this while I was feeling artsy.

Yes, I have glow in the dark stars AND an In The Land of Women poster. Shoot me.

I was just thinking earlier that image would make a good shirt. Good call.

Oh yeah, good idea. I think I'll put the quote on the back in the morning, before I wear it.

Made this last night instead of getting to bed at a reasonable hour, then wore it to the Mountain Goats show tonight. Because I am meta as hell.

Originally I wrote "Time past and time future" on the bottom of the patch, but my handwriting didn't suit the drawing, so I cut it.

Homemade shirts? This sounds like a bandwagon I can really get behind!

This counts as a legally binding contract, right?
Specify preferred shirt color and size and you got it. Should take me about a month to get that to you...say, oh I don't know, a month and two days?

I taped a piece of thin muslin leftover from a sewing project over my monitor and traced the drawing with a Sharpie. I don't recommend this method, as it left little marks on the screen where the marker bled through, plus Sharpie is bound to fade when washed. Sometimes I just get an idea and have to do it RIGHT THEN. For future attempts, I will probably buy a fabric pen and maybe try and rig up a light box for the tracing. Takes longer than printing an iron-on transfer, but the result is infinitely better.

I printed out the image of the gun, cut it out with an exact-o knife, then used a fabric marker to trace the outline onto a shirt which I had stretched in place over a piece of foam core board. Then I just filled in the shadow and highlights by hand. Piece o cake. I'm probably going to try just the gun on a red shirt for the next one, might even try the old stencil and spray paint method.

You know, I'm very much surprised no one else ever made themselves a Looper shirt. I guess Marc and I are the coolest people on the forum.
