You're waiting for Joe to take your virginity? It's not your mouth I'd be worried about.

Guys, everybody is talking about it on the internet and I haven't seen it yet and it's really starting to get on my nerves.

Rumor has it that it is a good movie.

A lot of people are saying good things about it, but I'm scared because the only time-travel movie I actually like is Primer.

That being said Back to the Future has points for comedy.

going solely by Mr. Johnson's track record you can count on "Looper" being unique if nothing else.
i've often thought that uniqueness is half the creative battle and that it is the predominant factor
considered by those who use the "auteur" sobriquet. saying that "Looper" will be the least
derivative time travel film you've ever seen doesn't sound like a lot on the surface, but it
promises much and i'm convinced that Mr. Johnson has the wherewithal to make the wait
worthwhile.

I agree that Primer rules.
I love that Granger stuff and trying to figure out the timelines.
It seems simple, yet it defies simplicity with an underlying complexity.

Ever see the Primer work?

Don't read it if you are still a Primer virgin.

I hate to admit it, but I just didn't enjoy Primer. When it was finally over, I said out loud to myself, "I bet I'd understand that more if I watched it again...but I don't think I can bring myself to sit through that twice."

understanding is highly over-rated. many people lose the potential enjoyment of cinema
by trying too hard to understand the plot or background or whatever seems so important.
Sarah, i'm not saying that you would have enjoyed "Primer" if you had understood more.
i am saying that if a movie can't rock you without forcing your head into a particular
mind-set, then it is not all that a movie can be.

i manfully avoided two [count 'em 2] separate "Looper" TV previews nefariously hidden within NFL telecasts yesterday.
is nothing safe?

No, they are promoting this movie like crazy for some reason. Maybe it'll be good.

ok, i'm upset now.
my local theater does NOT have a Thursday midnight showing of "Looper" scheduled.
so i have to wait ANOTHER 10 [count 'em 10] HOURS to see it legit.
i am deeply offended at this wimpishness.

Dude it is literally impossible not to see a looper related thing anymore. It's everywhere.
