There were a couple of outright funny moments in this otherwise dark movie. What were some of your funniest moments? Me, I laughed out loud when all the gat men and Young Joe found themselves chasing Old Joe together, and then Kid Blue and Young Joe looked at each other like, "Oh, hey. OH CRAP!" And then Joe took off running.

Who else had some laughs during the film, and when?

Cid gesturing that Joe should shoot Jesse.

"I'm from the future, you should go to China" got the loudest laugh at both screenings, I think.

^That whole scene with Cid was pretty great. That got a pretty big laugh out of the audience when I saw it, too. :)

Honestly the line "I saw the future, and it was a loop. So I changed it." me and my friend have been making each other laugh about that line all day. Best version "I saw the future, and it was pizza, So I ate it"

I'm not even sure that's the line, but that's how we remember it.

Yeah, that whole section was pretty funny. Noah really had such a tough job, having to be badass and sympathetic and funny and ridiculous, sometimes in the space of a few seconds.

I believe the line was, "and it was a circle".

"I don't want to talk about time travel. Because if we start talking about it then we're going to be here all day talking about it, making diagrams with straws."

That got a huge laugh with the younger crowd at the midnight showing Thursday night...not so much when I caught the matinee on on opening day, though.

Hahahahah? Really?! That's great. That just shows the difference between when your visualizing something can be the exact opposite of the execution. I really can't wait to see the script. I bet there's an immense amount of detail in there.

Bruce kills Rian's dad. He's the blond guy in the vest working in the "gun check" closet.

I know Rian said he was going to release the script. Looking forward to seeing what, if any, changes were made since I was naughty, weak, did a bad thing and read the original when it leaked a few years ago.

(Seriously. Weak. Could not stop myself.)

I saw the pizza. and it was a circle. so I ate it. AHAHAAH sorry.

My screening was really receptive. At one point when cid goes ape-shit for the first time a lady stood up behind me and yelled "WHAT IS GOING ON?!" Whole theatre lost it.

Also found the like "I'm from the future, move to shanghai." to be very funny.

My audience was kind of crap. I was the only one who clapped at the end.

On the Midnight Showing opening night in a fairly large but half-full theater, when the movie ended the ENTIRE audience was silent. And all of us just sat there for about 45 seconds silent before people started filing out. At first I thought everyone hated it, but right outside the theater, the entire audience was standing in little groups discussing how much the loved the film, questions, theories etc. Perhaps your audience was just as stunned as mine was.
