On the previous three viewings, I thought Kid Blue said, "I knew he was sweet on this one particular horse" when he brought in Old Joe - with Abe being the "he" and Old Joe being the "horse" and Kid Blue being a fucking cowboy. Kind of goofy, but he does call Joe's blunderbuss a "pea-shooter."

Finally heard it correctly tonight: "I knew he was sweet on this one particular whore so I went to her place..."

*facepalm*

I'm also still not convinced I know what's like spiders. First time I thought he said "memories," then "men," but this time I'm positive there was an "S" sound in there. Like "mens are like spiders." Thoughts?

Yeah, I'm still confused on this. Last time, it sounded like "mems" to me. Perhaps it's future slang for memories?

EDIT: Wait, no, got it. He's quoting his great grandfather, who's speaking in some Southern English. "Men's like spiders - it's the little one's that get you" as in "Men is like spiders". It reads weird, but say it out loud with a Southern drawl. I think this is it.

Pretty sure I heard an "are" in there. Not planning on any more theatrical viewings myself, so I'll have to wait for the DVD to judge for myself.

This is what I heard as well.

The subtitles say it's "Men are like spiders." But Daniels definitely puts an "s" in there.

Why? The world may never know.
