I've been looking for an incredible song/beat that was played during "Looper". You can hear it when the Joe & friends are getting high off eye drugs in La Belle Aurore, right before "Weapons" plays. There also seemed to be an extended version of it in one of the deleted scenes. Just wondering if anyone could help me find this.

Is it this?

That's playing when they first come up to the club. I thought the drug taking was all Son Lux's Weapons but maybe there was a snippet of something else...

Nope, as cool as "Slinky" is, the beat seems to be from something else. You can hear it in the first four seconds of this clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbNiseo3S5I

Wow - so that's all Nathan, and I actually think he swiped it from a track from his album Annasthesia. This is a concept album Nate did back around 2001, it's what convinced me to ask him to do the soundtrack for Brick. It's pretty fantastic, oddly I was just listening to it this morning. If I'm not mistaken I think that beat is taken from the track "Bullet."

Yes! More people need to listen to Annasthesia. Brilliant album.
