For whatever reason I am always entertained when other media references Looper, or any of Rian's work. The Eric Andre show did a quick bit on Looper this week!

Basically, two additional "Eric Andres" (one considerably older) - emerged from a horse costume, to which he responded "Oh shit, it's my Loopers!" They all pulled out blunderbuss and shot each other for a bit. Amazing.

I know there have been others - who else is doing Looper material in TV/movies/stand-up these days? Share it here!

Cracked did a sort of parody of Looper in a sketch called "The Problem With Using Time Travel As A Murder Weapon": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SeQzW0MaAL4

They do some great sound references right at the top that really sets the scene, then it's relatively silly after that. But it was obviously done with love, because they reference it a lot on the podcast and in other sketches. I just need to remember which ones...

The Jean-Claude Van Johnson pilot on Amazon made repeated references.

Amazingly, just after making my earlier post, I re-listened to an old episode of the Pistol Shrimps Radio podcast, and they referenced Looper! It was very offhand: one of the hosts (Mark McConville) was riffing on some made-up referee names and said, "Anderson Looper," then asked his co-host Matt Gourley if he liked Looper (they both did). Then, being Matt Gourley, he immediately brought up Star Wars ^_^

It's the 10/20/15 episode, if we're actually trying to make some sort of record of this stuff.
