Production is officially underway, announced with this video of Rian directing Mark and Daisy on Skellig and this press release, confirming Benicio del Toro, newcomer Kelly Marie Tran (presumably the Asian actress in question) and LAURA DERN.

Could not have said it better πself. So π did not. At all.
Did you know? Diane Ladd aka Ida Sessions aka the faux Mrs. Hollis Mulwray in CHINATOWN
is LAURA DERN's mother. Don't believe? Check the nose, Jose. Yeah, like that. Mama.

one superb actor offsets 8 mediocre actors, 4 poor actors or 1 SNL alumnus.

if π edit a post 20 times why don't π get 20 post credits? the current regime is unequitable.

This has blown my mind; I've just been watching Enlightened and noticed how well cast Ladd was as Dern's mother.

Tom Hardy? But this sounds kind of fake? Like, bad spelling, 'doesn't seem to fit in with the character' kind of fake. IDK. Tumblr tells me this site has been pretty accurate before, but.

SPOILER SPACE

I'm not buying the "slap on the ass" part at very least. FN-2187 wasn't popular, or ever "one of the group." No one liked him or was real friendly with him.

IDK I'm probably being stupid; I always fall for things like this!

Hmm... well it's trending now, so at least it wasn't some joker just trying to reel us in.

But really. "Fearing descent?" I'm still not convinced?
