Ok bear with me, I've a few questions.

1. Has anyone here made a movie influenced by 'Brick' that and uploaded it onto their site or Triggerstreet.com, for us all to view?

2. Is there anyone having difficulty writing a script for a movie they plan on directing themselves?

3. Is there anyone here form the UK or Northern Ireland that would like to chat on msn about writing a script, creating a movie etc? I know people chat on here but msn feels m ore personal.

Someone made a short film that had some strong Brick influences, but now I can't remember who...anyone? If memory serves, it involved a staring contest.

And I believe Conor has one in the works, but he hasn't mentioned it in awhile.

Yeah, that staring contest one was pretty awesome.

I don't know if any of the shorts I've made so far were heavily influenced by brick, but I have a short script I wrote that I started immediately after my first viewing of brick, so theres that.

somebody around here even wrote a sequel to brick i think, although i never got around to reading it.

Ah yes, of course! Blueman wrote a sequel to Brick called The Long Push, which was pretty darn good. I'm still voting for him to un-Brick it and make the idea into his own movie.

He's usually happy to send it in the direction of anyone who wants. It's a good read.

If ya wants it, you can haves it. Just holler.

And yes Sarah, I just the other day had a thought - out of the wild blue (which you apparently have a direct connection to) - to do that story up as a stand-alone. Something to percolate on...

Ya know, the other wacky idea I've had about it is, do it as a stage musical. Nathan, you interested?
