Hey all,
I've watched the film a number of times. One shot that I find terrific, but sort of hard to understand (since I've begun playing around with adobe premiere) is when Brendan is tailing Dode and we see Dode descend the embankment to meet Emily. It's like a timelapse shot. I suppose the frames in between were removed and the first keyframe and last keyframe overlapped. Was it done digitally?
I took a snapshot of it, I hope that's permissible. See below

cheers

Hey Steff - that's a straight dissolve. The camera is locked down and because Dode is on axis with the camera it has a strange effect, but it's just a dissolve.

Welcome to the board! 8)

Hah, ok, much appreciate the fast response. I'll try to get a shot to look like that in one of my next clips.

And many thanks for the welcome - I already looked around some weeks back and found lotsa excellent Brick-related insider info.
