Eh... I generally think that theatre can get away with slightly more spoiler-filled posters. For one thing, the poster is their trailer - it's all they have to get butts in seats, so it needs to be slightly provocative or intriguing. Also, because there's no trailer, no one can place a face/design with the character ahead of time. It gives off a dire feeling (and potentially "someone dies!") but I don't think it's overtly spoiler-heavy.*
That being said, while I like the design, I think they could have gone about fifty other ways with it that would have been just as intriguing without the shock value.
