I noticed in the film that Brendan wears sunglasses only once throughout the film, after he fought Brad Bramish and is talking on the phone with Brain. What was the significance of that?

Why doesn't he continue wearing them afterwards? Did they get stolen?

Patiently waiting on a reply to this - I'm curious as well. It's obvious it was meant to be a surprise how the cinematographer cleverly waited till he turned around to see his eyes covered.

These answers seem to be dodging the question. Is this something where you all would rather we figure it out instead of telling us and ruining the thought process?

Isn't the answer something like, "Continuity is for pussies"?

Probably. I was going to share the phone number of that particular phone but last time I was down there I drove by and noticed they'd pulled them out. And I doubt anyone on the other end knows where the glasses went either.

Yeah, dude. I mean, you can try the search function to see if there's ever been a discussion about it before...but I don't recall ever hearing an explanation for that.

I'm not sure anyone can get closer to the horse's mouth on that. Unless there was a horse actually involved in the scene. Wearing sunglasses.

He doesn't mask his black eyes anywhere else in the movie.
