Damn, has it been that long? *sniff* They grow up so fast...

I'd like to thank all the little people who got me here, and the Academy. And William Goss.

Rian: Oh, I am so taking you up on that.

Tsukasa: Don't worry, I'm a teetotaler too. Chocolate milk would be mighty fine.

The camping was lovely, in case you wondered. Didn't rain a single day (and this has been one rainy-ass summer), and the San Juan Islands are really gorgeous in late summer. I got to go hiking, swim in a lake, make lots of stupid Lost jokes about islands, share a tent with four other people, eat meat roasted over open flame, and make myself sick on s'mores.
Overall, it was a rousing success.

Eeep, sorry...didn't mean to poke a sore spot.
For the uninformed, good ol' Koins has been to Seattle several times and has always wanted to experience the infamous Seattle Rain (tm), but has been thwarted with the illusive Good Weather every time.

Here's us celebrating mod day.
And by celebrating, I mean mis-quoting Brick with quotes from the Lookout, and drinking choco milk...

Y'know, I just tried to join in on a new forum created for this band I dig really hard, The Punch Brothers.
It made me really appreciate how not-retarded this forum is.

I guess what I wanted to say is, thanks. For not being retarded.

Well, not very retarded.

And thank you for being our mentor.

When I laid my eyes on this forum, at first sight I knew this was it: This is a keeper.

I like using this thread to bounce ideas of all y'all.

So I've been thinking, as I sometimes do, about the forum and ways to make it better/more usable. I've been toying with something for awhile up in the ol' noggin, and I thought I'd run it up the flagpole and see if any of you salute it.

When I created the Cast & Crew forum, we logically used it for discussing Rian's other projects. Now that we also have a Bloom forum, it seems wrong to keep them under specifically Brick Cast & Crew. Yet an entire subforum for Rian's other projects seems excessive, since there aren't all that many.

The question is this: would a subforum for anything related to Our Fearless Leader that ISN'T Brick or Bloom be useful?

Second question: Is everyone still in favor of a subforum for movie-related threads? Ephemera seems to be doing the job well enough now, but everyone seemed to like that idea last time I asked about it.

Y'know, if I spent as much time thinking about this forum as I did looking for a new job, I'd be the Queen of Spain by now.
Thaaaat made no sense.

First Question: I would just put Cast and Crew under Et Cetera or make a Cast and Crew for Bloom.

Second Question: I kinda like how Ephemera is working out. I also like how the Movie Reactions Thread is holding up.

Good call. Making one "cast & crew" section for all Rian's movies makes more sense than making one for each of his projects. I like that idea.

Dearest Queen Sarah of Aragon and Castille: I'm going to agree with Manny, if only to freak him out.
