I agree with Manny. Apparently I also agree with Max. I don't know how someone can agree with both of them at the same time...

ALSO. I would also like to voice my support for a separate section dedicated to individual threads about forum Filmmaking Projects.

I just want to take this moment, in the light of ridiculous nonsense on certain other forums on these internets, to thank all of you for being reasonably sensible folks. Our kerfuffles are few and generally mild, and for that I am eternally grateful.

I love you, man.

This takes viral marketing to an all time low. I am ashamed.

Okay, so I can't keep up with the new forum.

On the old one, when I didn't read a topic, it stopped being lit up as 'unread'. Since the new one doesn't do this, Everything stays updated and it's just too dense, and I find myself not coming through it for subject lines.

Still love yall. miss yall

The lighting-up/not lighting-up still works for me. Delete all your cookies for the site and login again, should fix it.

Or is there another theme that would do it?

Don't curse the darkness, young Ronen. Light a candle.

When you see a topic with new posts, it's 'lit up'. If you don't read the topic, next time you come, is it no longer lit up?

Aw, I love that feature! It means that when there are ten threads with new posts, I don't have to read them all in one sitting just to keep track. I can come back later and they're still "lit up."

There's an easy way around this, though. On the right hand side of the page in each subforum, above the column labeled "Last Post," is the link "Mark topics read." This "un-lights" all threads.
In the main view that shows all subforums, you can also select "Mark forums read" in the same place, if you want to clear all the lit-up threads in one swell foop.

I'm going on my annual camping trip with my Muffins. Try to keep the place tidy until I return, expectedly early, in the middle of a wild co-ed party.

Because if there's anything I've learned, it's that real life is just like an episode of Family Matters.

Just deleted our recent rash of spammers...I think I need to beef up our security. If you responded to any of them, feel free to delete those posts.
