LOL YOU GUUUYYYYYSSSS! <3

(But tangentially. OMG yes HitRECord has been so good to me. Joe was the first person to ever publish any of my stuff. And off the record? God his wife is so beautiful and I am so thrilled for them both. I just love her, and no it's not because she's a gothy looking science nerd who made geeky HitRECord videos and talked with her hands a lot. ;) 8)

That's so awesome, Jules! I can't believe little Tom Hardy Jr is already two. When you first popped him out I tried to wrangle the forum kids to all pitch in and send you a gift, and everyone was totally on board (even our Fearless Leader), but I completely dropped the ball. I'm so glad to hear things are coming up Jules!

The process will be long and arduous, but you're already on your way! Most people never even finish the novel, much yet get an agent, much yet sign with a publisher!

You're an inspiration. <3 <3 <3

The thought alone is SO sweet of you, all of you! Thank you! Just knowing you guys were thinking of me really made my night. I'm not on here half as often as I want to be, but this is still my favorite forum with my favorite people. Seriously, every other forum has gone to shit over the years, but this one is still such a bright spot.

But, update: So, my agent actually moved to a different agency. So now I'm with Donald Maass agency! I've got to wait a few more weeks to officially sign those papers because businessy stuff blah blah. But Donald Maass is awesome, I actually wanted to sign with them a few years ago - but my query letter sucked back then. :)

I finished my revisions (first round,) and sent them to my agent. Now I'm just waiting on her feedback to see if we need to do more. Then, line edits, and then off to submissions! It could still take quite a while. But that's cool, I'm a patient person!

Everyone, thank you! I just love you guys. <3

Real quickly though: My Mini Tom Hardy is now more of a Mini Me:

Look at that "I'm Number ONE!!!"
Kids are all the same.

GREAT NEWS!
I hear that agencies with double letters in the name are especially beneficial.

CURE FOR WRITER'S BLOCK :
pick up a real world 3-D dictionary & just poke around as if you had a million dollars
and all the words were priced to sell.
