Again, hope this hasn't been posted before, but here's Rian Johnson's interview with Elvis Mitchell. Mitchell's interviews are always fantastic, and this one doesn't disappoint.

Not yet, but I will. I need to figure out how to format it, etc.

One thing I've been mulling over: is there any advantage to actually publishing the script via a legit company, rather than putting it out free on the internet? Does anyone miss the notion of owning a physical book with the script in it?

I'd pay for a boxset-style thing of Brick and Brothers screenplays, even if I've already got the Brick screenplay on the computer.

Format: A moleskin notebook, with artwork interspersed with the script.

I already told you film nerds will be poring over this for years to come with all the detail you've stuffed in, give them a tangible link to a character from the film with all sorts of goodies stuffed in.

Anyone know any small publishers?

Personally, I've never been a fan of reading things of the PDF persuasion, which is why I actually printed out both the Brick Novella and Screenplay and placed them in binders.

Ink and Paper will always be sacred.

Oh yes, love to have nicely published Brick and The Brothers Bloom screenplays!

Free information sharing is awesome, but for the dedicated fans? Nothing can beat having a hard copy. Especially with art included!

I imagine you'd get a pretty good response finding an indie publisher and selling a book of Bloom art + screenplay, maybe some commentary-notes a la Brick.

Take a page from JK Rowling and hand-write it in a Moleskine, complete with recreations of several of the key drawings by Zach, and sell it for ONE MILLION DOLLARS on the ebay. You can use the money to start compensating me for my services (after converting the sum to hundreds and filling a swimming pool with them, of course).

Thanks all, very encouraging. Maybe I'll wait till Looper's in the can and try to convince a publisher to do a three script volume. Three's a nice round number.

Anyone with some free time want to tidy up the Bloom Wikipedia page? The synopsis in particular is pretty sloppy. I popped in and fixed a couple things (they called the Curator "The Frenchman." Seriously), but if anyone has some free time and wants to look it over that'd be nice :)

My boss decided people should be on the phones today, but all the customers are assuming we're closed for Labor Day. Time for YouTube!

Found some cool interviews and such that I added to the Bloomlist. I particularly love the clip from the Totally Rad Show. I really enjoy their show but rarely watch it because they talk about a lot of stuff I'm not interested in. All three of them seemed to totally grok Bloom, which is, um...rad!

I created a page for The Brothers Bloom on TVTropes.org. I only just saw the movie tonight (which I loved), but I figured I'd best move fast before some other troper made the page. If any of you are TVTropers (or want to become one), go ahead and add some more examples. I cobbled together a decent roster, but there's always room for more (if anyone's curious, on TVTropes I go by the handle of Destron).

Edit: Here's the link!
