How did it go?? The hangovers gotta be gone by now, or at least mellow enough to look at a computer screen. How about an update?

Holy cow i haven't been on here in a loooong time! so long my old name 99thzombie got deleted i think? anyway hey its me 99thzombie or Naeim now raygunn19

If yall remember i did a bunch of illustrations for brick after it came out then helped Rian with the novella and recently did a few storyboards for Bloom.

I had the awesome luck of having The Brothers Bloom premier in my home town of Toronto, So as Rian is putting his thoughts together after what was a a whirlwind of a time in Toronto (i barely got to see the man) I'm gonna quickly say i was lucky enough to go to the pre party for the film and the premier. It was an awesome time and i will confidently say this (as i saw the film screened to the cast and crew and to the general public) This movie is a hit! awesome response from the crowd, packed theaters both nights and line ups around the block both nights.

The film is a delight and i am super proud to have been a part of this film.

Rian you are a gentlemens gentlemen, i've worked with a good number of directors and this man by far is the most solid of the bunch. I wish all you guys could have seen him do his shuffle on the red carpet and woo the monster press.

Hey Ronen awesome chilling with you too, I hope the whole Johnson entourage had a good time in the T dot (what we so affectionately call our great city... at least amongst some circles...) Oh and now that you guys have been to the "great white north" can you please inform the rest of the south landers that its not so "great and white" but more big city like and urban... no igloos... NO IGLOOS.

peace

Thanks Naeim, you were by far the coolest man at our party. (And yes, that includes Geoffrey Rush.) Next time I'm in town we're going out for some Pho and igloo rumor debunking.

For those un-privy, Naeim is an artist extraordinaire, who did all the illustrations in the Brick Novella.

Of course I remember zombie! Back in the day when Dr. Handsome had that Brick: The Tunnel website. Glad to have you back. And if you can, send some sketched Bloom-goodies this way!

Haha cheers Rian, i have to say like i told you at the party, i don't usually get all star crazy but man Geoffrey muthafuckin Rush!!! with 5 girls on him at all times. that shits just plain crazy!!

i wish you could have seen the wink he gave us as he noticed our mouths on the floor when he left the party with said 5 women.

We'll do pho and smoke some serious hookah (shesha, nargela) at my favorite persian joint. Maybe there is a film to be made in the misrepresentation of canadians being eskimos... or something. we can call it "ain't got no igloos bitch!"

Cheers cuban! thanks for the welcome. As for Bloom goodies that's something you'd have to ask Rian. There might be something planned for the art in the future with the dvd or something, im not sure but i am sure at some point some random bloom fan art will spill out of me and end up on the forum again, you never know

cheers

The first time I saw Rian, he was on a stage, age 13, running for 8th grade class president. He owned the crowd then--the speech was one for the ages and I can't possibly do it justice--and he owns it now.

Good job, man. Seriously. :D

Hey Naeim! I think you'd done posting by the time I came around and beat Rian over the head until he made me his admin, but I love your illustrations.
For the record, your old account is still active; the e-mail attached to it is upintheatticproductions@gmail.com, if that helps you get logged in.

Welcome back!

Dedicating the movie to your granddad. Rian, that's class!
