With this fantastic offering from Naeim Khavari (who may be recognized as the artist behind the illustrations in the Brick novella), I declare the floodgates of Brothers Bloom fanart open!

Now don't be shy, folks; I know Naeim is a hard act to follow, so I'll get things rolling with my own offering!

I've got a blank canvas, paint and some brushes.

Unfortunately, I do not have the time or talent to make something worthwhile. Never the less, I imagine I will attempt something in the near future, making my next post in this thread significantly more relevant...

Does anyone else notice how much alike Mark Ruffalo and William Goss look in this picture?

I'm surprised that after all these years I never realized that Ruffalo had such a nice afro. I didn't know that they were both nude in the film... and awfully skinny.

Just found these awesome Bloomart offerings:

Both are the work of a lovely young lady named Regina, who blogs her art at CerealSaturdays.com.

So, I'm still trying to get Rian to bring Bloom - or at least his very good self - to my university. I figured he seems to like my drawings, so here's my new, inked, style.

Ha! That is really lovely.

The only problem is I don't know what my schedule is like when I'm there - because the distributor is flying me out, they tend to keep me pretty booked with press and screenings every evening. How far out of town is your university?

A couple of hours return. A short enough journey to get there and back and still have a few hours on campus.

In fact, I just checked, and the train journey would be under two hours (I've only gone for Friday because that's the best day for us - if you couldn't do it we can manage any day but Thursday. We've got J Blakeson, director of The Disappearance of Alice Creed coming then!). Wouldn't advise driving from London because of traffic. Then from Leamington Spa (which is where we actually live) it would be no hassle to arrange car transport (our events officer has her car, so she could drive you to and from the station), which would take about 15-20 minutes to campus. As I've said before, we wouldn't want to cause you undue stress, but if you could manage it, it would be amazing.

I'll check with the folks at Optimum, it might be tricky because it would take a half day out of what I think is a pretty packed schedule. But I'll check, and thanks again for extending the invitation.

This one's... not quite right. Doesn't really look like the actor. But I think it's still a decent picture.

Very happy with this one, though.
