That's also on the list of places to return to soon.

Come up 3/13. Chris Funk & Jennifer Conlee of Decemberists are part of a group (including Eels and Minus 5 members) doing a Pogues Tribute under the name KMRIA for St. Pat's "weekend". Decemberists + Pogues = Happy St. Patrick's.

Justin is far too conversational at 4 am for this old Ape. He killed me last time. By the third day of his adventure I was literally passing out while clucking like a chicken. Not to say it wasn't awesome, but it was also wreckage.

That's a little tight, but just maybe. I appreciate the fact that I invited myself up and you just rolled with it.

And I agree, I was too conversational at those hours, but I made up for it by not speaking at all for about three hours after I woke up every day. It was also my first vacation of consequence in a significantly long time, so I was a little pumped up.

Aw man, that's the weekend of the Seattle comic con. Otherwise I'd have totally bused down.

If it's not San Diego, it's not Comic-con.

Actually, I don't have that strong an opinion on it, but I felt cool saying it.

Many a time have I traveled far and paid much for the San Diego con. Those days are behind me now.

I went down there last year just to see The Mighty Boosh live--I always forget to buy tickets for the Con on time.

Next month may be too soon, all my vacation hours got eaten up at the end of the year. It's in the mix, however. If things clear up I'll let you know, perhaps even via email.
