I might be heading there myself around October with a friend of mine (who is yet to watch the movie, and I feel like a bad person for not having a marathon in my house and inviting her), so I was wondering about the locations where the movie was shot... in Prague, because that's the only Bloom-related city that we might be hitting, as far as I know. We've been planning this trip for a while now and when we had to narrow down the list of 20 cities to 15, I couldn't let Prague out knowing that the movie was filmed there. It's not like I stand in a park here in Chile and go all excited because there was once a war in that same place, plus if I was excited about a war then I'd deserve a what the hell Dee. Also it's not like I can just go to Europe whenever I feel like it, and it's possible that if I don't make this trip now then I won't make it in the next ten years or so, or never. So :) if I can know, where was the movie shot around Prague?

Luckily alot of it was in the major tourist areas, I have been myself before the film and went to several of the locations on my own accord. Will check my guide books for the exact names if you want and get back to you as I can't remember them off the top of my head

Prague is beautiful though, you'll love it!

Hey, I know some people who lived there for two years. Let me know if you want to get the low-down on what's good or bad in Prague.

Local knowledge is always tops! Have fun, Dee, and you better show us some pictures when you return! ;)

A lot of it looks like it was in Old Town Prague. Easily accessible via the rail lines.

Yeah, we hit all the big stops. The main square in old town, the Charles Bridge, the castle gates and the inner courtyard. Luckily Prague is so amazing, if you just walk around the old town part of it you will have no lack of beautiful things to look at. Take pictures & have fun!

I loved that shot with the TV tower in the background. The weird one with the babies crawling all over it.

Be sure to get a picture if you are able to...
