Bloom is going to be the closing night film of the San Sebastian festival. Wooo hooooo!

[topic heading changed to avoid getting taken to task when I arrive at the fest...]

Here a Spanish man!!
Rian, it's funny because I have just asked this on the "New pic!" thread.
Do you know the release date of the film in Spain?

And since we’re talking Europe, any chance moving a bit more east, let’s say Italy... or the original filming locations?

I feel like getting an imaginary disease, and not so imaginary sick leave, and hop a town or a country for a screening.

I don't think we have a release date in Spain yet but I'll check... same for Italy. And I have no idea what the plan is in Montenegro, Serba, Romania and Prague. I guess I should find out!

EDIT: This might be the most useful post I've ever made to the forum.

Can't think of a better place to be in September, Basque country, beach, beautiful city... and the Brothers Bloom.

Meanwhile, in Mexico, we'll be watching badly dubbed re-runs of Saw VI. Retitled to something quasi-bizzarre as "Juegos Macabros" -Macabre Games-.

Damn lucky spaniards!

You don't have to be a Spaniard! San Sebastian is a public festival, so you can buy tickets, possibly even online. It's 45 mins from Bilbao. And there's a nice spa, to help you recover from all the excitement.

Yes yes. Spain. Yes. But will you be attending a premiere in Utrecht? That's the question on everybody's minds.

Thank you, Sarahalyse!

But, seriously, would you trek to Utrecht?

I would be really happy if Brothers made it to Sitges too. San Sebastian doesn't have the freak quality that Sitges has. But I guess could always catch a train...

^^same here, welcome to the forum, Igrayne!

Rian, I won't be able to attend the San Sebastián Festival (I'm making some works in my house's decoration and overworking)Image but if you come up in Sitges, I think I'd try to go to "The Brothers Bloom" in October :D
