Was there. 'Twas xcellent, canoodled with the high and mighty, reacquainted with Rian and his mom. Drinking beer in WeHo. Life is good.

Well met, Mr. B.

I saw Bloom at AFI today, and I wanted to say thanks to Rian. Not only for making a great film that exceeded all of my expectations, but for being super chill. It was really cool that you stuck around after the Q&A so we could all get a word in.

And you, sir. As I said before, we have to get together more often than Q&As, but you're so busy jet-setting and drinking caviar and eating fine champagne, I doubt there's a chance.

But you really should look into getting that swan set up.

And heffness, it's a bummer you didn't pipe up. I was lurking around after the screening as well, it would have been nice to put a face with the, er, heff.

I was the tall and awkward guy with the Hurley hat covering his Bob Dylan hair. I made an inquiry about symbolism to the man. I'm sure we exchanged uncomfortable glances at one point.

In the Q&A? I was waaaay in the front row, so couldn't really see anyone. I was lurking around after the showing wearing my ever-so-subtle 'I ♥ Toxic Waste' T-shirt. Ah well, there's another screening coming up, we'll have to coordinate something with all the LA-area denizens.

I think it's called "limited release". Check your local listings, etc.
