Tried to get to meet you but things were so chaotic at the screening they wouldn't let me come over to say Hi. It was good to see you from afar, at the least. Brilliant film! I think those little touches in the background were priceless! I was kind of suprised, but delighted about the third act, how much farther it went than other films would. I'm still deciding if I liked the ending, but I might just have to see it a few more times to make up my mind.
I loved your introduction regarding video cameras. I got to be a cameraman for my local TV station in WI while still in highschool and had to lug an even heavier unit around, so I feel your "pain."
I doubt you'll get this while in CO, but should you, I have a signed copy of my book for you, with a special message inside. If you're here and have about a half hour, I'd love to meet for coffee/beer/milkshake, whatever and talk about films, books, etc. Here's my email: lac at rmi dot net.
If you're gone, where is a good address to send it to? Your office?
Thanks for brining the Brothers Bloom to Denver and for being here with it. I glad you got to spend time with family. I know how important that is.
Take care and great job!
