Hi Rian,

I see the Brothers are not only coming to Denver, but they're opening the festival! That's wonderful! I'm planning to be there (having to skip class to do it.) Will you be attending, maybe drive around the old neighborhood before the show?

Even though I am attached to a machine most of the day, I am not a spambot, robot, droid or other mechanised machinary. No, really.

Get this: my sister lives in Denver and heard about this, but informed me that it's too expensive and she's going to wait for the normal release.

*tears coat* I have no sister.

there are different costs for different levels. The gerneal admission ticket is $30 which is about the cost of a dvd, but you get to see it with Rian!

That's worth it in my book.

Hell, it is in mine as well. If I lived in Denver, you can bet your ass I'd be there with bells on.

Sadly, my sister is not so dedicated to the Way of the Rian...and for that she must die.

Hi Rian,

Tried to get to meet you but things were so chaotic at the screening they wouldn't let me come over to say Hi. It was good to see you from afar, at the least. Brilliant film! I think those little touches in the background were priceless! I was kind of suprised, but delighted about the third act, how much farther it went than other films would. I'm still deciding if I liked the ending, but I might just have to see it a few more times to make up my mind.

I loved your introduction regarding video cameras. I got to be a cameraman for my local TV station in WI while still in highschool and had to lug an even heavier unit around, so I feel your "pain."

I doubt you'll get this while in CO, but should you, I have a signed copy of my book for you, with a special message inside. If you're here and have about a half hour, I'd love to meet for coffee/beer/milkshake, whatever and talk about films, books, etc. Here's my email: lac at rmi dot net.

If you're gone, where is a good address to send it to? Your office?

Thanks for brining the Brothers Bloom to Denver and for being here with it. I glad you got to spend time with family. I know how important that is.

Take care and great job!

Dave Boop

Hey Dave - damn I'm sorry man, must have been crazier than I thought there. Next time just throw something at my head. Anyway I'm really glad you liked the movie. I'll PM you an address, thanks in advance for the book.

No, thank you. You made a delightfully wonderful film, and I'm sure even my mom could watch it. That's skill! I appriciate the address and I'll get it out to you as soon as I can.
