well met, Daniel. welcome to the world of wonderfulness.
most gracious of you to look out for your stateside friends.
yes, distribution seems on the niggardly side. more's the pity.
very best wishes. having not yet had the luxury of visiting
your fine country, so my favorite living Brazilian is Alex Barros.
carry on.

Saw it just last night at the Fallbrook Laemmle's - by the time we left the theater they'd already moved the signboards to switch it one slot down the hall and move "Up" into the theater we'd just been in ...

Wow, Rian. I am in awe. Masterfully done.

The use of Ricky Jay was perfection considering the con man/deck of cards theme. The art direction and costume design were gorgeous, as were the locations. My viewing partner and I both commented on how well you maintained tension about "real or con?" from all sides throughout the film. I haven't seen such a masterfully misdirecting/confounding plot since at least The Prestige, and this was better. Some of your shot setups were phenomenal (the shot on the roof with the graffiti - awesome). That first crash of the Lamborghini made me gasp/cringe out loud, and I flinched every time you crashed it after that...

Thank you for another magnificent film.

(But we wanna know what Penelope said to get herself out of that museum!)

Hmmm...more theaters will be showing Bloom, today (29th) right? Wish I could find a list of all the places it's showing....I've been looking forward to the 29th ever since months ago. I can't watch Bloom (I live in Brazil) but I'm trying to get all my friends in the US to watch it. :D

I tried the Fandango link at the main website, but it didn't show up that many showtimes (even for places like "Portland, OR") ... so I used this Zap2it website to find more showtimes/theater names.

close. Prague/Praha = Czech/Česká = zkurvysyn ... and/or maybe a little pravda vítězí.
was that Joe schlepping around in the first bar scene or just wishful/wistful thinking?
the only problem with seeing Noah was wanting him to have 5000 more lines. tell him
i said that. when you see him. please. thank you.

Yep, that was Joe staring slight to the left of the camera with a vaguely dazed expression as they pan across the bar. Dancing furtively next to him you may in future viewings also recognize Nathan and their friend Jared. The three are also playing music and singing behind Stephen and Bang Bang when they're playing cards later on.

Check that: I initially said the "band" was behind Stephen and the Duke.

Editors, man. Can't live with 'em, can't publish without 'em.

Although many report there is something irresistible-ish about 'em...
