Likewise with Duane. (It would be funny if these comments didn't spring from us hanging out after the film.)

Please tell me there's a picture of this historic event? Y'know, so those among us who have never felt the grace of Duane's presence can live vicariously.

Working on a new screenplay... Being Rian Johnson.

There are some individual shots of us taken at the police station, but I don't think anything survived the melee that happened before that.

Have fun tonight, all. I demand pictures.

I had a wonderful time tonight. I really liked the movie and Rian gave me a big hug! It was so sweet. Thank you, Rian. I will cherish my autographed Brick DVD. Also, thank you for (politely) telling off the Aint it Cool guy. It was really funny. I would have told you so in person if he hadn't been standing right there.

The Aint it Cool guy made a reductive observation about the meaning of The Brothers Bloom and Rian basically told him not to deduce the relationships of the characters in such an uninteresting way. He didn’t do it meanly, though. The guy was just kind of blasé about his broad statement and Rian said what needed to be said.

It was a fantastic evening indeed, well worth the 12 hour trip :D . The film was fantastic, even better than the first time. Expect a much longer and eloquent review of sorts tomorrow. I typed it up on the train home, but it's in desperate need of some spell check/revisions, and I am in desperate need of some food/sleep. Anyway, yeah, thanks for the big hug Rian, and for just generally being so chill. And recognizing me. I'm pretty sure all of my high school teachers have already forgotten me, as well as some family members, so the fact that you seemed to even remember who I was is pretty awesome.

Like I said, long winded review/praise tomorrow. For now, sleep.
