Good idea, I'll be the really skinny kid (18), with slightly stupid looking very short hair, wearing jeans (it's the smartest thing I have) a black shirt, gray jumper and probably a leather jacket that doesn't quite fit.
I may have to skedaddle quickly at the end, as there are only two trains I can catch home, one at 21.48 and one at 22.12, I'll probably catch the latter though.

Bit of a random question I know, but I've ordered my tickets online and I need my card to pick them up, does anybody know if you need to use your PIN number to pick-up tickets?
Because I just found out today my PIN doesn't work because I've never used my card to buy something NOT over the Internet or got money out a cash point, that's because I've never brought anything NOT off the Internet before since I've had my card.
I'm going to phone them up in a minute, I might just have to plead with them

You shouldn't have to because you've already paid for it.

Last time I booked tickets online they just scanned my card and the ticket printed out.

Thanks, I phoned them just to double check and they said the same thing.
Panic over.

Completely agree with everything you just said, great film, great to meet everyone (especially Rian) overall I had a great time, wish I'd brought something to have signed, like all the other cool kids.
Well, now I'm off to sleep, for some reason my alarm woke me up at 5AM so I'm very tired at this point.

Cool kids don't need no souvenirs.

I met Kzap!

Oh, and some other guy called Rian, I think?

omjfjbv

We all freaked out for the rest of the night.

(Kzap, I will get the photos processed asap and post them up here. I really hope they all turned out OK!)

It was a lot of fun, I can't believe in the Q&A I got so suckered in to hear Penelope's excuse, I should have known Rian would pull something like that.
The Tom Cruise story was really interesting, I'm surprised I'd never heard about it before and it's good to know no cats were harmed during filming.

Fingers crossed, I assume it'll be fine. I feel really stupid about not bringing a camera or anything to have signed though, I left in a bit of a hurry and assumed I would have a camera phone. As it turns out my phone is broken and for a house with ten fully working computers in (although some very old) there was only one other mobile phone which had no credit on, so I didn't take it.

Just out of curiosity where where other people traveling from and back to?

I traveled in from Flitwick, Bedfordshire. About 40 minutes outside of London.

I live in Leamington Spa during term time, but I was staying at my brother's flat in Balham, so it wasn't a terrible journey that night.

I live in Epsom, so it was only a 40 minute tube journey to Clapham from my nearest station.

I noticed Tom Cruise in the credits and was perplexed, but I didn't get the chance to ask about it in the Q+A. What's up with that?

According to what Rian said in the Q&A last night, Rian spoke to Cruise (initially about playing Stephen - how weird would that have been?) about the script, and made a few changes to the script based on their conversation.

Oh wow, that would have been a completely different film. I don't know if this got brought up at your Q+A but Rian said that for a while, Drew Barrymore was attached to the role of Penelope - it's interesting to speculate how far removed these alternate universe versions of the film would be from the excellent one we got.

Yea it is really interesting to think about, my bet is if it did star Tom Cruise and Drew Barrymore it would have got a lot more financing (and maybe some studio interference) and a world wide release but that doesn't mean it would have been any better, it probably means we wouldn't have got the opportunity for a directors Q&A either.
