If you need a post-Brick fix, this might do the trick. It's more of a straight comedy than Rian's film but it has its moment, plus a great pay-off.

Did it get bought? I'm looking forward to seeing it...

Whatever it is, it's got a pretty gripping title.

Yeah, I really want to see this. The screenshots look epic, and if it's a compelling high-school story, I'm ready for it. One does not truly ever recover from high-school.

Well, the title made me want to know more about the movie but when I saw the picture with Micha Barton... Aie aie aie.

I'm not sure if she just can't pick the right scripts or just can't act, or both ...

Saw this last night and enjoyed it. A little less Brick Jr. and a little more Chinatown High, but you get the idea.

Interviewing the director later this afternoon, but he did mention at the Q&A last night that he praised Brick and admired it for going off into a more noir direction than they had.

I'm guessing you asked the Brick question, right?

Actually, he had brought it up sans prompt. Got a more thorough answer out of him today, but I'll post that once I'm back home.

We were talking about this today in my college. Weird that it came up here aswell. Keep finding loads of Brick comparisons so I am very curious to see it.

I was just thinking, "Wow, I've been waiting for this movie for essentially eternity, it must be coming out anytime now."

Now I read that their distributor, Yari Film Group (or something) has declared bankruptcy, and the films release has been postponed indefinitely.

...

*Opposite of a golf clap, whatever that may be*

Recent indications suggest that Sony will be sticking it on DVD for them, but no clue as to when.

Looking forward to checking this out, whenever/however. What a terrible situation, can't imagine how the filmmakers feel.
