SIFF is in May. What festival are you looking at? There's HUMP this month, the amateur porn festival (yes, you read that right), but sadly the Seattle International Film Festival is not until spring :(

It better be held on a Wednesday.

Sorry, my usual inattention has led to the mistruths being uttered. I looked at the SIFF website and saw that movies of some kind were being shown next week, and immediately jumped to conclusion that SIFF must be happening next week. yay!

Ape, could you just, you know, check again, to make sure Bloom isn't showing at Hump next week?

Just sayin'...

Ah yes. SIFF has their own theater and shows movies year 'round. Fancy!

Also, I totally forgot that we had another Northwesterner on the board. I'm trying to talk blueman into driving up on the 10th when What We Do Is Secret opens. You're welcome to come too!

Thanks for the invite....but I think I'm grounded until my children turn 18. We get out to see maybe one or two movies a year, which is just awful.

Even worse than that? The last movie I saw in the theater was....

Leatherheads. Augh!

No! The Castle of "Aaaauuuuggghh!"

Rian!

I think you should definitely come to Nottingham, England when the movie comes out, or even before to give us a special guest appearance super early showing of it at the Broadway Cinema there.

I could totally make up a film festival in the next few weeks and pretend it's this big contender to something like Sundance if that makes it any better?

Wrestler and Bloom on the same day? Madness!

I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume that the Sunset Laemmle 5 will be the LA theater. We should all coordinate a group meet-up to see the flick on opening night.

I'm 90% sure that it will be Arclight. Laemmle is bleeding cash, programming, and customers.

Either theater wouldn't surprise me.

Do we know HOW WIDE the release is going to be? I mean is it going to be 2,000 theaters or like 3,000 theaters?

Is the Limited Release going to be a testing ground for the wide release like what they did with Be Kind Rewind? (How it didn't do awesome in the few theaters they released it in, so they cut it's release from a few thousand theaters to like 600).

They should have released the "Swedenized" version.

I think we're talking in the neighborhood of 800...
