And that was 2 weeks ago. Pretty amazing to think that we're actually going to be rolling film in just over a month...

Not to mention the possibility of some good phlogging.

I just realized, I could do a little phlogging here. Not sure if this is interesting, but here's a few of our crew to start.

Image
Our cinematographer, Steve. This shot will have Adrien in it in about three months.

Image
Our very cold yet intrepid producer Wendy

Image
Our ever stylish production designer Jim (he did Children of freakin Men!)

Image
My producing partner and finicky eater Ram surveys one of the Lamborghinis we'll be crashing

Image
Our viking-like assistant director Sean (in a shot that will one day contain the bros)

Image
Our incredible stunt dude Nick takes a Prague staircase by the horns

Image
The final shot of the movie (oops, spoiler alert)

That's so totally exciting! Hope you have a blast with it! (as he shakes his pom poms vigorously...)

Rian...THIS IS AWESOME.

I cannot tell you how cool it is to be a high-school filmmaker and seeing this interaction with people interested. IT helps me survive school.

Yes, just checked. Won it all right (the team, that is). If off to Berlin now, where Ram can buy me a drink to celebrate, if he's still there. If not, he's not, no big deal. I'll send him an invoice.

Let the phlogging begin!

Now I feel like I'm in a Monty Python film. "And then, the oral sex!"

Production Design for Children of Men was sexy. That's one of the few films where my friends turn to me and go "That looked really realistic...man that director designed the sets well." To which I replied "Production designer..."

Yeah, stuff like not having the lam show up again intact after it's been crashed. I mean, we would understand, but the general audience, you know, picky, picky, picky.
